Can't believe that's legal! Like buying a new car, never driving it, and told it's illegal to sell. I obviously don't know much about this, but it looks like they have 6 totally unused, never installed, 2019 licenses that they can't do a thing with. Still don't know what the deal is with them, but it looks like it's not worth figuring out anyway.
I do see the 2019s when I login to Autodesk, but don't see the older ones which I thought I used to. I see older licenses, from 2015-2017, and even one from 2010, but no 2019s. I vaguely recall moving some licenses around when new computers were purchased.Īs far as I can tell while decommissioning these computers, the 2019 licenses were never installed anywhere. The heavy users got upgraded to the latest, and the light users got their leftovers. I'm not sure of the facts, but think they just purchased additional licenses every few years. Looks like selling the business wouldn't work because I don't think they were on a maintenance plan. Based on that, seems they're out of luck.
